hb Wynn [= Bennett, Sidney Kimball] Astrology: Your Path to Success 1st David McKay Company, Washington Square, Philadelphia 1938 £50   Original full black cloth with yellow titling to front board and spine, in vgc+ condition, with puzzling small correction fluid stain to bottom 8mm of front hinge, else near-fine, with light wear to cloth over upper outer corner of front board and lower outer corner of rear board. Top edge of page block dyed yellow, as issued. Front paste-down with small liquid stain to small area of its outer margin, not affecting rest of book. Endpapers partly toned; likewise upper inner quarters of pp. 164-5, presumed from a previously stored insert there. Corrected dog-ear to upper outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 39-40. No internal markings or other faults found. For its age, a near-excellent copy of the first edition. The correction fluid stain could probably be removed with the right solvent, though I won’t attempt this.
