In fair mylar-protected original dj, which has lost the lower third of its spine and is chipped at top of spine, upper inner margin of rear panel, and foot of front flap-fold, with minor losses from tops of flaps-folds. The dust jacket rarely survives at all. Top edge of page block dyed deep green, as issued. Two former owners’ inked inscriptions to front paste-down. Plain-pencilled page reference to ffep. Two words underlined in dark ink to p. 229. No other markings or faults found, although a small number of other minor markings I’ve missed possible. A near-excellent copy of the sought-after first edition, in fair dj.
