In second-issue binding, with black titling to spine Publisher’s original full red cloth in fine condition. In vgc- dj, with 5mm chip lost from top of its front spine hinge, small chip lost from outer margin of rear panel, 8mm tear to top of rear panel, small patch of light scuffing along front flap-fold, moderate scuffing to top 3mm of spine, and light-to-moderate scattered edge-wear, including to extremities of flap-folds. Former owner’s orange circular marginal stickers to pp. 8, 10; red-inked marginal dots to pp. 178, 180. No other faults found. Plain-pencilled bookseller notes to rear paste-down. Overall, a very good copy
