pb Koch, Dr. Walter A. Innenmensch und Aussenmensch: Eine astrologische Qualitätenlehre 1st Zenit-Verlag, München 1956 £15 104 pages of densely packed text AUTHOR-SIGNED ASSOCIATION COPY. Publisher’s original textured card covers in near-fine, unworn condition (lightly sunned at spine; reading crease down inner margin of front cover). This copy signed by Koch to title page in blue ink in 1958, in presentation to Henri Sternberg, believed to be the German graphologist and poet who lived from 1905 to 1958. Text mostly clean, but a diagonally slanted rectangular section of p. 6 measuring 5 cm by 1.5 cm unexpectedly lacks print, partly affecting three successive sentences. It is as though the text has been reproduced from a master copy that had a label pasted over the top of that section. Former owner’s blue marginal ticks, notes and occasional underlinings to pp. 20; 22; and 30-1, otherwise only a little plain-pencilled marginal bracketing. Despite the faults, this is an historically interesting copy for the dedication revealing Koch’s friendly personal association with a graphologist and poet of some note.
