[5] + [1 leaf] + iii + 118 + [pp. 121-143] + [5] + [pp. 149-155] Later full red textured glossy paper-covered boards with raised leather-like title label to spine bearing gilt titling of author’s surname only. Boards in fine condition; gilt to spine still bright. Internally, one plain-pencilled bibliographical marginal note to title page (‘Sn. 6586-5’), which has traces of staining to lower margin. Lacks leaf comprising pp. 119-120. Please ask for scan or printout of the missing pages from our master copy, which will be provided free of charge. No permanent markings or other faults found. Price factors in the one missing leaf, which is presumed to have dropped out owing to the poor condition of the original binding and to have been lost before rebinding. Otherwise in fine condition. A rare book.
