Boards clean; gilt titling to spine still clear. Internally, near-fine, with negligible 1.5 cm arc-of-circle-shaped outline red ink mark to outer margin of p. 239, but no other permanent markings or faults found. A little faint (erasable) plain-pencilled mark-up / underlining towards the end of the volume (within the range of pp. 226-243). An excellent copy of the first edition. |
