The Astrolearn bookshop is temporarily closed for 14 days Friday December 13th to Thursday December 26th inclusive. This is because of the unreliability of the Christmas post and very high volumes of writing and editing work over this period. Please check back on Friday December 27th, when the shop will reopen and this notice will be removed.

Uhle – Astrologische Bibliothek Band XXI: Die Fixsterne: ihre Bedeutung in der Astrologie 1927

£35.00

Description

hb Uhle, Professor Dr. [Michael] Astrologische Bibliothek Band XXI: Die Fixsterne: ihre Bedeutung in der Astrologie 1st Theosophisches Verlagshaus, Leipzig [1927] £35 [iv] + 225 pages + [3 pages of advertisements]. Undated in print; date is recorded by the DNB (Germany’s national library). Original black quarter cloth in vgc, with minimal fraying to top of spine at centre; spine lettering partly faded, else sound. With deep blue paper-covered boards, also in vgc, with paper worn over lower outer corners and slightly over upper outer corners, but generally clean and fresh. Minimal wear to tiny part of top edge of title page, with light effects to following leaves in same place. Minor creasing and tearing to upper inner corner of leaf comprising pp. 19-20 (far from text). Minor creasing to lower outer corners of later leaves, apparently caused by a former bump to the lower outer corner of the rear board. Main text pages clean and unmarked. I did however find small red pen marks (resembling vertical dashes) to the lower margins of the tables to pp. 213, 214 and 218, with a black one also to p. 214. Tiny ink stain to outer margins of pp. 224-5 and of final page of advertisements. Small inked cross to outer margin of first page of advertisements, and a plain-pencilled one to inner margin of second page. Still a very good copy for its age, with only minimal blemishes to the end matter after the main text, and in its original binding
