Only the copyright date of the first impression is given; it is not clear whether or not this one was printed in the same year. Original full brown cloth in near-fine condition, professionally laminated in a clear plastic film; gilt titling to front board slightly faded; rear board splays open very slightly, else fine. Top edge of page block dyed rose-red, as issued. Tiny inked price to front paste-down. Page block very slightly taut to turn. Two tiny ink spots to closed fore-edge of page block, but no internal markings or other faults found. For its age, an excellent copy of this early impression of the original edition
