Gilt titling and key illustration to front board a little age-faded, though still present. Free from internal markings, although the page-margins are a little soiled. The binding is fairly strong, with the joins between signatures occasionally very slightly strained. Overall, a fair copy of one of the rare early impressions of this highly sought-after book, in its original binding. |
