The Astrolearn bookshop is temporarily closed for 14 days Friday December 13th to Thursday December 26th inclusive. This is because of the unreliability of the Christmas post and very high volumes of writing and editing work over this period. Please check back on Friday December 27th, when the shop will reopen and this notice will be removed.
Sepharial – The Daily Guide 1922, Copy 2
£55.00
Description
hb | Sepharial | The Daily Guide | 1st | W. Foulsham & Co. Ltd., 10 & 11 Red Lion Court | n.d. | £55 | Library records give 1922, which is supported by the publisher address. The first impression of this book is always undated in print | Original smallish-format full green cloth in vgc+ condition, with light wear to top of central part of spine, and tiniest hint of wear to foot of central part of same, which is slightly creased; very slight forward lean. Colour to boards still deep; spine very slightly sun-faded but good colour for its age. Solidly bound. Old inked signature to ffep, which also bears a few plain-pencilled numbers. No deliberate markings found beyond this, except possible faint pencilled marginal bracket to p. 73, although that could just be a natural variation in the paper. Very slight crease across upper outer corner of p. 75. No other faults found. A very good, clean antiquarian original |
