Foulsham & Co., 5 Pilgrim Street, Ludgate Circus, E.C. 1915 £85 Date from foreword matches the publisher address, showing this to be the true first edition Original full blue cloth in vgc, with moderate rubbing of cloth to foot of spine and to outer corners of rear board; light rubbing to top of spine and outer corners of front board. Blue colour to both cloth and spine remains pleasingly deep and unfaded. White titling strong to front board; very slightly faded to spine. Only very slight hints of staining to small areas of front board. Free endpapers slightly toned as usual. Internally, a very clean and strongly bound copy, with tiny trace of ink staining to part of outer edge of p. 40, but no significant faults or markings found. An excellent original copy of the rare first edition
