Foulsham & Co., 5 Pilgrim Street, Ludgate Circus, E.C. 1915 £50 Date from foreword matches the publisher address, showing this to be the true first edition Original full blue cloth in vgc- condition, with cloth separation at top 1.3 cm approx. of rear spine hinge; otherwise, only light rubbing to spine ends and light-to-moderate wear to outer corners of boards. White titling to front board strong and bright; to spine, it is mildly faded but still clear. Ffep bears former owner’s printed address sticker and a much smaller vintage address label of bookseller John Watkins of London. Free endpapers only very lightly toned. A very clean copy, with no internal markings to the printed pages, and no other faults found. Internally strongly bound, and complete in 112 pages.
