Ltd., 10 & 11 Red Lion Court n.d. £60 Library records give 1929, which matches the publisher address, supporting this being the true first edition Original full blue criss-cross-patterned cloth in vgc+ condition, with only light rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards. Front paste-down with small old printed address label of Samuel Weiser Inc., New York. Paper hinge between ffep and half-title page cracked, but underlying webbing holding. Plain-pencilled number to ffep. Small old printed label of Harmony Book Shop, New York City to rear paste-down. Hinge between p. 32 and p. 33 slightly strained. Tiny ink stain towards inner margin of p. 34 and equivalent part of p. 35; similar to part of outer edge of page block, slightly encroaching on extreme outer margins of a few internal leaves. No previous owner markings or other faults found. Overall, a near-excellent copy of the first edition.
