Original pictorial glossy card covers in vgc, with one central vertical crease to spine; moderate wear to upper outer corner of front cover; small internal crease to middle of front cover; and creasing to upper outer margin of rear cover; light creasing towards lower outer corner of rear cover and to part of inner margin of same; light rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and along parts of surface of front hinge. This copy affectionately signed by author in presentation to its original owner in blue ink to upper margin of half-title page, dated Oct ’96: ‘For Sandy. Good luck always! Love Ronnie’. No other internal markings, and no internal faults, found. A rare signed copy of the true first printing.
