hb/dj Hand, Robert Planets in Transit 3rd impression Para Research 1977 £75 After the first two printings of 1976 Original black cloth with silver gilt titling to front board and spine, in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to of of spine and feet of spine hinges. Silver titling to front board and spine remains strong and bright. In vgc- dj, which has a chip lost from the foot of the spine, minor chipping to the top of the spine and of the flap-folds, and a 2-inch tear from the top of the rear flap-fold to the upper outer margin of the rear panel; also a short tear to the foot of the front panel, moderate creasing to its upper margin, and minor superficial traces of scratching to the rear panel. Internally near-fine. Ffep with former owner’s inked signature to upper margin and a trace of ink staining to lower margin. Rear fep also with trace of ink staining to lower margin. No internal markings found to any printed page. Overall, an excellent copy of the third printing, in vgc- dj.
