Spine gilt partly faded with age, but still clearly legible. In good+ original pictorial dj, which shows light chipping and tearing to top of spine, light tearing to foot of spine, and light-to-moderate chipping and tearing to extremities of flap-folds, and occasional short tears to top edges of covers. Internally excellent, with no internal markings or faults found. A rare and oft-cited scholarly book, even rarer with its original dust jacket. |
