All impressions of the original De Luce Publishing edition are now rare | Original card covers in vgc- condition, with covers themselves very good, but central crease down spine that gets heavier towards the bottom, turning into a superficial internal tear, although this stops short of the foot of the spine; tiny patch of scuffing alongside this; otherwise, just light edge-wear to covers and one faint inked slip-of-the-pen mark spotted to rear cover. The deep blue-green colouring to the covers remains strong and is not faded at the spine. Internally in excellent condition: clean, unmarked and sound. Overall, a very good copy of this rare early edition. |
