comb binding Jansky, Robert Carl Interpreting the Aspects 1st Astro-Analytics Publications, Venice, California 1974 £33.00 The true first edition, with separately paginated page runs for each internal lesson but no overall cumulative pagination. Original large-format card covers, with front and rear covers both protected by bound-in clear acrylic sheets, which are a little worn and torn at some edges but have served their purpose in protecting the covers and could be removed if no longer wanted. Comb binding has a split in its spine before the seventh prong from the bottom, but the split is between prongs and doesn’t compromise their structural integrity. The top two prongs are, however, broken. Former owner’s blue-inked signature to upper margin of title page. No internal markings or other faults found. A very good copy overall, the slightly damaged comb binding and acrylic sheeting notwithstanding.
