Trace of staining to upper margin of rear board. Ffep with original owner’s plain-pencilled name, dated 1911, and associated address, partly repeated to upper margin of preface page (as plain-pencilled, could be erased). No permanent internal markings or other faults found. A very good copy of the rare true first edition
