hb Harwood, P. J. Astrological Prediction 1st P. J. Harwood, Ovingdean, Brighton 1934 £105 215pp (as paginated, inc. initial blank) + imprimatur. Complete ASSOCIATION COPY. Original full red limp cloth in vgc, with light rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and outer corners of boards, and along part of front spine hinge. Originally gilt titling and illustration to front board and gilt titling to spine has faded, but it was stamped and is but still clear to discern against the background of the red cloth. This copy formerly owned by notable British media astrologer R. H. Naylor, and bearing his signature to ffep, dated 1936. Plain-pencilled bookseller inventory number to upper margin of same; small plain-pencilled ‘7’ to rear paste-down. The photographic frontispiece portrait of the author is present and unblemished. The pages remain fresh, white, free from markings, and strongly bound in. Overall, an excellent copy of this rare book by one of the foremost British astrologers of the 1930s, with added interest thanks to its manifest history of ownership by the UK’s most notable pioneering media astrologer.
