Fowler & Co., 7, Imperial Arcade, Ludgate Circus, E.C. 4, London n.d. £75 Library records reveal publication in 1935 Publisher’s original wave-patterned full blue cloth in vgc overall, with patch of moderate chipping to part of bottom edge of rear board, else near-fine, with gilt titling to front board and spine exceptionally strong and bright for age. In good+ original dj, which has chipping to bottom edge of rear panel, and slightly to top of front hinge of spine; some chipping and tearing to extremities of flap-folds; 1 cm tear to top edge of front panel; and a few short tears to bottom edge of same. Plain-pencilled price to ffep. No further markings and no internal faults found. Overall, a vgc+ copy in a good+ dj. The dust jacket rarely survives at all, and the book is already rare without one.
