Yano, Michio Kūsyar Ibn Labbān’s Introduction to Astrology 1st Institute for the Study of Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa, Tokyo 1997 £150   Original very large card covers in vgc for age, with wear to outer corners of covers, sporadic staining to front cover, which is slightly out of shape. Library stamps to upper and outer closed edges of page block; top edge also with a little staining. Inside of front cover with former library stamp over the top of which the same library has stamped a withdrawal notice. Residue of removed label to ffep, which also bears a blacked-out barcode sticker. Further withdrawal stamps to copyright page and table of contents page. Plain-pencilled classification notes to upper margin of Contents page. Another library stamp to lower margin of p. iii. No other markings or faults found. Overall, a good ex-library copy of this very rare source text.
