hb Jones, Marc Edmund Guide to Horoscope Interpretation 1st David McKay, Washington Square, Philadelphia 1941 £70 The true first edition, first impression of this book Original full brown cloth in vgc+ condition or better, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards, and very slight rubbing along rear spine hinge. Former owner’s inked signature in a fine hand to ffep. binding strong and paper remains fresh. A little black-inked underlining and occasional marginal marks to pp. 29, 34, 59-66 and 76-8 (faintly). Inoffensive plain-pencilled mark-up to diagrams on pp. 19, 49 and 57. Minor strain to upper parts of inner paper hinge between pp. 84-5. No other faults found. Overall, a near-very-good copy of the rare first edition, let down only by the few pages with underlining, which is factored into the price.
