  Jones, Marc Edmund Essentials of Astrological Analysis 1st Sabian Publishing Society, New York 1960 £53.25 The true first edition Original purple cloth in vgc, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards, and with scattered occurrence of tiny whitish spots (as though from remote paint-splatter) to parts of front board, with minimal traces to spine. Gilt titling to spine still present though no longer bright. Traces of staining to closed top and bottom edges of page block. Old, small and neatly printed San Francisco bookstore address label to front paste-down. A few corrected dog-ears to upper outer corners. Crease down middle of leaf comprising pp. 423-4. Occasional traces of diffuse black ink-staining to outer margins (just a few pages). Inked marginal bracket to p. 75; ‘Loco’ inked to upper outer corner of p. 82, and ‘Splay’ to upper outer corner of p. 89, but no other markings found. A near-very-good copy of the sought-after first edition, one that has been quite well-studied but only minimally marked to three pages.
