Only the first-edition copyright date of 1970 is retained. | Original large-format yellow card covers in only fair condition thanks to rippling and creasing; residue of removed sticker to upper outer margin of front cover. Internally, paper consistently rippled from past damp exposure (this copy was caught in a rainstorm after being packed in a flimsy USPS envelope with no rain protection and then left in an outside mailbox outside my former residence in Sweden around 2008!) but remains easy to turn. Plain-pencilled bookseller’s note including price to upper margin of title page. No permanent markings or other faults found (the apparent black-inked annotations to the tables on pp. 53-5 are part of the print of the book). An acceptable reading copy although thanks to the rippled paper, it’s never going to be a beauty. |
