Greatly expanded from the sixth edition of 1927, which had only 179 main pages. The definitive edition of this book Original full maroon textured cloth in vgc, with moderate rubbing to extremities of spine hinges; light rubbing to surface of rear spine hinge and outer corners of boards. Gilt to front board somewhat faded, but titling remains clear to read and star diagram clear to see. Gilt perished from spine but lettering remains legible. Front inner paper hinge lightly cracked, but webbing strong. Minor internal closed tearing to paper over front paste-down; old mason’s Bookshop of New York address sticker to same. Corrected dog-ears to upper outer corners of leaves comprising pp. 175-6 and 191-2. Plain-pencilled page reference to upper margin of p. 193, but no permanent internal markings found to any printed page. A very good copy of this collectible cloth edition of one of Llewellyn George’s more important and useful titles.
