The Elements of Astrology 2nd Ray Broughton, 62 East 120th Street, New York 1906 £195 Both 1st and 2nd editions are rare and highly collectible, especially in their original bindings as here. Original full blue cloth with stamped black astrological chart, title and border decoration to front board; title and border decoration to spine. In very good antiquarian condition for age, with moderate wear to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards, but no serious faults. Early (5 Pilgrim Street = 1911-1916) printed W. Foulsham address sticker beneath original printed publication notice to title page. Tiny ink stain to p. 11, not affecting reading of text; another to p. 97, likewise. Minor foxing to inner parts of pp. 152-3, apparently caused by former retention there of an inserted paper item. Blue-inked marginal bracketing and date to p. 363. Blue-inked underlining to section of text spanning pp. 414-15, with related marginal annotation to p. 415. Blue-inked underlining to p. 426, with related marginal mark; similar blue-inked marginal ticks to pp. 427 and 428. No other faults found. The book collates complete, and remains strongly bound. Rare!
