Complete in [vi] + 471 pp. Original outwardly glossy card covers in vgc for age, with moderate reading creases to spine; moderate rubbing to extremities of spine hinges; moderate creasing to upper outer margin of front cover and lower outer margin of rear cover; scattered patches of surface discoloration to covers; and light edge-wear. Former owner’s blue-inked signature, dated 1980, and blue-inked private library inventory number, to title page, with small red-inked ‘K’ adjacent to number. Two phrases within one sentence underlined in plain pencil to p. 7, with marginal plain-pencilled arrow adjacent. Names of individual fixed stars within headings corresponding to their delineation underlined in red ink from pp. 49-218 only – averaging about one fixed star name per page between these limits. Three words within same paragraph on p. 169 also underlined in red ink. No markings found in any other pages, and no other faults found. Externally vgc; internally good; overall, a good+ copy. Rare!
