Printed in Fraktur (gothic script) Original textured card covers in near-fine condition; professionally laminated in a fine clear plastic film. Tiny blue-inked price to inside of front cover. Small traces of outer-marginal staining to p. 96. 5mm tear to outer edge of leaf comprising pp. 99-100, far from text. Tiny chip lost from outer edge of leaf comprising pp. 173-4, and another from top edge of leaf comprising pp. 261-2. Plain-pencilled marginal bracketing to a small number of pages within (erasable). Faint red-pencilled marginal bracket and 4 lines of faint red-pencilled underlining to pp. 211; pp. 213-214 also with red-pencilled marginal brackets and pp. 214-215 also with a little red-pencilled underlining. Traces of internal creasing to lower outer corners of a few pages in the middle of the book. No other faults found. Still a good although clearly well-studied copy of the paperback edition.
