Worldcat credibly suggests 1942 for this edition. Original very large-format green cloth in vgc- condition, with moderate rubbing to extremities of spine, and wear to cloth over lower outer corners of boards; boards slightly bound, else sound. Gilt titling to front board still clear. Former owner’s partly smudged inked signature and telephone number to front paste-down. Internally, traces of damp-induced rippling to upper outer margins of all internal leaves, crossing upper outer corners of printed tables within, but no obvious staining. Lower inner margins of later pages damp-stained. A few pages with red-inked or black-inked underlining to a row of figures. Externally vgc-; internally only fair. Overall, an acceptable reading and study copy or working copy that looks better on the outside than it does on the inside. Bargain-priced to sell
