Gilt zodiacal illustration to front board mostly bright and strong still; gilt titling to spine partially faded but still clear to read. Ffep with blue-inked page reference and astrological note. Blue-inked bracket around head of a paragraph to p. 229, and similar around parts of others to pp. 307-309; of which p. 307 also has two words underlined and two marginal astrological glyphs added; minor marginal marks to pp. 309-310, box around three words to p. 311, and similar around one glyph, with marginal arrow pointing to it, to p. 312. Apparently plain-pencilled marginal bracket to p. 445. Most pages unmarked. No other faults found.
