Fowler & Co., 7, Imperial Arcade, Ludgate Circus, E.C., London n.d. £15 Must be from 1915 or later as the 2nd edition is from 1914. Original small-format full deep green cloth in vgc+ condition, with very light rubbing to extremities of spine and most outer corners of boards, else near-fine. Front paste-down with plain-pencilled scribble confined to one small area. Ffep with plain-pencilled price. Small plain-pencilled mark to upper inner margin of title page. A few other plain-pencilled marks within, but no permanent markings found. Interesting notation of a medical astrology case study in plain pencil to rear paste-down. A few difficult words of vocabulary noted in plain pencil on rear fep. Binding appears slightly strained between pp. 48-9, but holding. Still a very good copy of this relatively early impression.
