This volume appears identical to the first printing of 1954, whose copyright date is retained, in all details except for the lack of added advertisements at the end. It is therefore presumed an early reprint, although it might just be an uncommon example of the original issue that was bound without advertisements. Original quarter green cloth with red card covers in near-fine condition, professionally laminated in a fine clear plastic film. Sheet containing two diagrams designed to be cut out and used, entitled Lunameter, is intact, with the whole sheet laid in, as originally issued. Upper margin of title page with small red-inked price and separate small black-inked symbol. No other markings or faults found. A near-fine copy. The Lunameter is rarely found intact in surviving copies.
