Binding in near-fine condition, professionally laminated with a clear plastic film; lightly rubbed to extremities of spine hinges, and minimally to outer corners of boards. Gilt still strong and bright. Top edge of page block dyed red. Tiny hand-inked price to front paste-down. This copy contains inked underlining in various colours including black, red and green, mostly neatly ruled, to 4 pages of the foreword and about 50 main text pages; also inked marginalia to several pages. Plain-pencilled date to rfep. The binding remains solid throughout and the pages otherwise clean, so it is sold as a good reading and study copy
