Fowler & Co. 1910 £25 [6] + 91 pp. + [1 page of advertisements]. Complete. The true second edition, dated 1910 in print to the title page. Original small-format green cloth in vgc, with sun-browning to spine, light rubbing to extremities of spine, small white stain to front board, and tiny black ink stain to rear board. Early owner’s green-inked signature in a fine hand to ffep. Title page with early ‘Revised Price’ notice sticker adhered over outer margin, crossing final word of original printed price. Faint plain-pencilled marginal bracket spanning pp. 9-10. Corrected dog-ear to upper outer corner of same leaf. Early owner’s plain-pencilled astrological study notes to rear paste-down. No permanent internal markings or other faults found. Binding remains sound. A very good copy.
