[Astrological Manuals No. V:] Directions and Directing 1st 9, Lyncroft Gardens, West Hampstead, N.W., London 1905 £45 [1] + [1 leaf] + [pp. vii-viii] + 72 + [pp. 73-4 of tables] + [pp. i-xxix pages of advertisements inc. rear paste-down]. This first edition in purple cloth is rare. Original small-format purple cloth in good+ condition, with 1 cm separation to foot of rear spine hinge, moderate fraying to very top of spine, cloth worn from very foot of spine (2mm) and from upper outer corner of rear board, else moderate rubbing to edges and corners. Spine relatively colour-faded. Front inner paper-hinge partly torn. Bookseller address sticker to front paste-down. Faint plain-pencilled bookseller note to ffep. Beyond this, no internal markings or other faults found. An excellent, clean copy internally. Overall, a very good copy of the rare first edition.
