pb Clifford, Frank British Entertainers: the Astrological Profiles 2nd Flare Publications 1997 £9.50 Second edition revised and updated, August 1997, after first of May 1997 Matt card covers in vgc, with 5mm stress line or superficial tear to foot of spine, light wear to outer corners of covers, and sun-fading to blue pigment at lower inner margin of rear cover and along spine. Internally, this copy has been repaired at several internal page hinges with Tyvek non-acidic archival book hinge repair tape, to securely reattach pages that had worked loose as a result of the weak original binding glue used on this edition. The repairs resulted in some pages extending a little from the outer edge of the page block. They have been trimmed back closer but are now rough-cut and could do with filing off level with the rest of the page block. The internal binding isn’t perfect, but the pages are now all securely attached, giving the book a new lease of life. No internal markings or other faults found. This early edition is scarce and collectible.
