Original full blue cloth in vgc- condition, with slight fraying to cloth at foot of spine and along two short parts of rear hinge; light wear to 3 (of 4) outer corners of boards; small circular sticker to front board hand-inked with two digits. As on all copies, slight rippling to lower part of title leaf caused by glue used by publisher to paste down address label (to one side) and copyright notice (to other). Plain-pencilled annotation to upper margin of p. 1. No permanent markings or other faults found. Overall, a very good copy of the rare first edition
