Rebound in full brown cloth (moderately frayed to feet of spine hinges; lightly to tops of same; moderately worn at lower outer corner of rear board; lightly at other outer corners). This copy bears the blind stamp of notable astrological researcher Heinz Specht to ffep, and his manuscript astrological notes. Specht was the originator of the Birthplace House System, which has since become known as the Koch House System. Purple-pencilled note to front paste-down. Two narrow print-outs of figures in blue ink taped in with browned clear tape to first ffep. Printed chart pasted over front side of second ffep, with another tipped in to reverse side of same. Specht’s blue-inked marginal marks, annotations and / or underlinings to pp. vii, 9, 12-16, 19-20, 24, 27, 51, 55, 58, 62, 86, 91, 94-5, 101, 113-14, 140, 142-3, 161, 164, 169-170, 172, 175, 182, 197, 201, 214-5, 221-7, 230-1, 242, 369-370, 374-5 and 384; purple-pencilled underlinings and / or marginal bracketing to pp. 98, 101, 113-14, 123, 125, 127, 166-7, 328, 346 and 354; blue-pencilled annotations to p. 51; pink-pencilled underlining and / or marginal bracketing to p. 13, 16, 20-1, 58 and 101; green-pencilled underlining to p. 159. Crude clear tape repair to top 6 cm of inner margins of pp. 110-11. Interesting annotated hand-inked technical astronomical diagram to verso of rfep – probably Specht’s most interesting addition to this copy. The book is rare in any condition
