pb Kühr, Erich Carl Astrologie: Ja oder Nein? Ein Dialog für Anhänger und Gegner 1st Verlag Rudolf Cerny, Wien 1949 £25 172 pages + 4 pages of advertisements. POSSIBLY AUTHOR-SIGNED ASSOCIATION COPY. Original card covers in vgc for age, with light rubbing to spine hinges, crease across lower outer margin of front cover, and a couple of small ink stains to front cover. Internally, the book block is together but has become unglued from the cover. This should make for an easy repair for a bookbinder who knows the right glue to use. Copyright page with hand-inked address to former owner Heinz Specht, the notable astrological researcher who introduced the Birthplace House System subsequently adopted and popularised by Walter Koch. Though the address is in old-fashioned joined-up handwriting and hard to read, it seems likely to be in the hand of the author of the book, as Specht was well-connected. No other internal markings or faults found. An exceptional copy let down only by the current state of the binding, which is well-worth repairing.
