Copyrighted 1948; printed 1949, as indicated on rear cover Original textured card covers in vgc+ condition, with very slight creasing to upper inner corner of front cover, lower outer corner of same, part of outer margin of same, and upper outer corner of rear cover, else near-fine. Internally, there are small blue-inked marginal marks to pp. 22, 27, 30 and 31, and three parallel blue-inked diagonal lines across the upper outer corner of p. 28, where a few horizontal inked arrows and + and – signs have also been added to the figure on the page. The earlier pages from 5-20 have only plain-pencilled mark-up. No other faults found. Still a near-very-good copy of the rare, sought-after first edition
