Solar and Lunar Returns: How They Affect You According to the Sidereal Zodiac 2nd Llewellyn Publications, St. Paul, Minnesota 1968 £45 The second impression, after the original edition, which is here mistakenly back-dated to 1948 (it was actually from 1950) ASSOCIATION COPY. Original yellow card covers with turquoise titling and decorative bordering in mostly very good condition for age, only significant fault being a 1 cm closed tear to outer edge of rear cover. Otherwise, just a little creasing, mostly to outer margin of rear cover, and very small inked scribble towards outer margin of front cover, which also bears an old small circular printed price sticker to its upper outer corner. Staples still in very good condition. This copy formerly owned by notable writer Fred Gettings, bearing his ex-libris stamp and signature to ffep. Old L.N. Fowler address label to lower margin of same. Two pages (p. 10 and p. 42) with small inked marginal brackets, p. 10 also an exclamation mark; but most pages free of permanent markings. A little plain-pencilled mark-up to p. 13. Overall, a vgc- copy of this scarce early impression, made more historically interesting by the signature and stamp of past owner Fred Gettings.
