Original orange-yellow textured card covers in vgc+ condition for its age, with light creasing across outer corners of front cover, tiny liquid stain to upper inner corner of front cover, and tiny ink mark to lower inner corner of same, else near-fine. Vintage small, neat California bookshop address label adhered to inside of front cover. Minor insect holes to part of lower margins from second ffep to p. 14, far from text. Trace of paper-rippling to lower parts of pp. 54-8, as though from past moisture exposure, though no stains found. No previous owner markings or other faults found. Overall, a very good, clean copy of the rare first edition, in the large-paper variant (it was also sometimes bound in a smaller size with staples). Price factors in faults.
