There was also a US edition published by Dutton at New York in the same year. Original full orange-yellow cloth in vgc, with light fraying to cloth at very top of spine and foot of rear hinge, else near-fine, with a few traces of staining to boards. Internally, the book remains strongly bound. Endpapers lightly foxed. Plain-pencilled price to ffep. No other markings or faults found. A very clean copy of the scarce original edition.
