hb Rudhyar, Dane The Moon: the Cycles and Fortunes of Life 1st David McKay Company, Washington Square, Philadelphia 1946 £100 The original title of Rudhyar’s famous book that was later revised as ‘The Lunation Cycle’ Original full blue-green pebbled cloth in vgc, with light rubbing to extremities of spine, outer corners of boards and parts of bottom edges of boards. Black titling to spine still readable though contrast with cloth not optimal. Original lime green endpapers intact. Previous owner’s annotations and underlinings in erasable plain pencil to quite a few pages. Only very occasional blue-ink marks among them: spotted a marginal bracket at each of pp. 25, 29, 93 and 94, and a small marginal annotation to p. 28, in blue ink. Overall, still a very good copy of the rare and desirable first edition.
