The contents are philosophical and give valuable insights into the early development of Rudhyar’s thinking. | Nearly all issues in vgc antiquarian condition for their age, with no permanent internal markings found except on Number One (1932) – as detailed below. All issues that originally had covers complete with them – with variable sun-fading to coloured card of some covers, especially the 1932 issues. Minor creasing to parts of some covers. Other minor defects as follows: Number One (1932): Slight staining and creasing to upper margin of front cover. Former owner’s pink-pencilled underlining and marginal notes to pp. 12-14. Number Two (1932): Small stain across ‘S’ of title to front cover; 5mm tear to top edge of rear cover; later stamp of HAMSA PUBLICATIONS, 2725 Tesla Ave., Los Angeles, Calif. to foot of title page. Number Five (1932): Marked foxing and some staining to covers. Number Six (1932): minor foxing to front cover. Number Eight (1932): traces of blue ink-staining to lower outer corner of rear cover. May 1933: Tearing down lower three-fifths of spine, with remainder weak. August 1933: Separation to lowest inch of spine. June 1934: 3mm tear to foot of spine. November-December 1934: Short tear to foot of spine. Price factors in faults. A very rare near-complete set. |
