hb/dj Pepper, Choral Astrology for the Single Girl 1st The Foster-Williams Company, Long Beach 1970 £75   AUTHOR-SIGNED COPY. Original turquoise cloth in vgc+ condition, with bright gilt to spine; light rubbing to extremities of spine; minimal rubbing to tips of outer corners. In mylar-conserved near-fine original dj, which has light rubbing to top of rear flap-fold and top of rear spine hinge, otherwise only minimal rubbing. This copy signed by author in large, generous cursive dark-blue-inked handwriting to ffep, with cheeky, humorous message: ‘For Lee – who already has a man – but you never know… Love – Choral’. A unique copy with vintage character redolent of the American culture of its time. The date 1970 has also been inked to the upper outer corner of the ffep. No other internal markings or faults found.
