Many pages printed in dual columns. | Original tall full cloth with gilt titling to front board, in very good antiquarian condition, with traces of discoloration to parts of upper margin of rear board; wear to cloth at lower inner and lower outer corners of boards; and light fraying to extremities of spine. Folding frontis. illustration ‘The Hymalaya Wonder Wheel’ present in excellent condition; light tearing at the uppermost 2 inches of the join of the paper it is printed on to ffep. Old plain-pencilled signature dated April 1905 to ffep. Occasional plain-pencilled marginal bracketing within. Rear endpapers with extensive and interesting plain-pencilled astrological study notes in a fine joined-up hand of the original owner. No permanent markings or other faults found. A very good copy of the rare original edition. |
