Original blue cloth in vgc+ condition, with minor rubbing to extremities of spine; spine sun-faded, but boards remain a pleasingly deep shade of blue, with blind-stamped title to front board strongly defined, and gilt titling to spine intact. Former bookseller address sticker to front paste-down. Early owner’s hand-inked signature, dated 1939, to ffep. Plain-pencilled marginal brackets and light underlining to p. 27. No markings found on any other printed page. A very clean, fresh, strongly bound copy of the rare first edition
