Complete in 104 pages, of which the last four are advertisements Original full black cloth with blind-stamped front board titling and illustration, and gilt titling to spine, which remains exceptionally strong and bright for the age of the book. In vgc+ condition, with tiny 7mm internal tear to cloth towards foot of spine and trace of internal creasing and indentation in cloth over read board, else near-fine, with moderate rubbing to top of spine; minimal wear to foot of spine and lower outer corner of front board; moderate sun-fading to spine and inner margins. Plain-pencilled bookseller notes to ffep. Early owner’s inked signature to ffep, which also bears plain-pencilled bookseller inventory number. Plain-pencilled letter ‘C’ to rear paste-down. No internal markings or other faults found. Overall, an excellent copy
